The Nutritional Breakdown: Why It’s a Win for Health
Carob flour is naturally sweet, contains no caffeine or other psychoactive substances, and has almost no fat. It is an ideal cocoa substitute and sugar replacer. Carob flour is also a good source of fiber, calcium, and other vitamins and minerals.
Dates, another key ingredient, serve as natural sweeteners and are excellent for digestive health, acting as prebiotics – fibers that are digested by the healthy bacteria populating your gut.
Coconut oil offers healthy fats and imparts a subtle coconut flavor, contributing to the creamy texture of the spread.
Sesame tahini is rich in protein, essential minerals and enhances the nutritional profile of the chocolate spread, making it a wholesome treat for kids.
